DESTAN with Ebru Șahin: The Destan production is officially underway for one of “The Most Fascinating” dramas of the season. The historical series DESTAN produced by Bozdağ Film will premiere later this fall on ATV.
Emir Khalilzadeh takes the seat of the director chair, and the screenplay bears the established signatures of the two screenwriters, Sefer Nehir Erdem and Ayșe Ferda Eryılmaz, who also wrote Sen Anlat Karadeniz and Sefirin Kızı / The Ambassador Daughter.

DESTAN with Ebru Șahin: What is it about in the historical series The Epic?
The ‘Destan’ series recounts the epic love affair between Akkız and Batuga. Akkız, the legendary warrior girl of Gök Kagan Korkut Khan, orphaned in the harsh steppes with semi-desert vegetation of Central Asia and Gök Tegini Batuga, who is orphan by Korkut Khan in Gök Palace.
Akkız (Ebru Shahin), a brave warrior of Turkey and Batuga, a young orphan, heart to heart, will rewrite the fate of the Turks. Destan will focus on these two young orphans, two unknown birds, while trying to achieve the impossible, making their love a sword and a shield of their hearts.
